As you can imagine, my time as a prosecutor in Houston Texas was a baptism by fire in the training of perfecting my skills as a criminal trial attorney. I faced tremendous adversity in jury selection and persuasion as well as faced some of the most skilled, tenacious and well-known criminal defense attorneys in the country. Many of these techniques as well as the tenacity and skills that I learned there came with me when I moved back to East Texas to represent the Defendants who have been accused of a crime. To date I have tried well over 150 jury trials in Defending the accused against the State in counties all over the east Texas region. In addition to perfecting my trial skills I make it a point to have a very good professional relationship with the District Attorney's office so when my client insists on me getting a "plea agreement" worked out I am in a position to get the lowest, easiest punishment possible
on my client's behalf.
